Manchester City Council Department for Work & Pensions: Creative Digital SWAP
In partnership with DCMS, DWP and ScreenSkills, SharpFutures hosted a two‑week immersive work experience at The Sharp Project for 20 creatives aged 18–25.
Futureworks: Employability Sessions
A three‑day industry immersion tailored for students in film, TV, art & design, and sound.
The Manchester College: Coding Bootcamp
Manchester college students spend two days of intensive coding and creative tech skills.
Channel 4: Content Creatives 2024
Channel 4’s Content Creatives 12-month programme was dedicated to helping young creatives kickstart their career in the creative industries; gaining valuable experience and developing hard and soft skills and working within the industry.
New Bridge: Academy Creative Digital Placement
A 30‑week hands‑on experience inside The Sharp Project. Students worked with production teams, visited BBC sets, and saw what a creative career looks like up close.
MMU Rise: Creative Digital Experts
A three‑week live industry placement combining hands‑on training with real client projects. Students finished with new skills, professional portfolios, and a sharper sense of where they fit.
Co‑op Live: Beyond The Band 2025
Supported by Oasis’ management and Ignition Records, this one‑day event gave 200+ young people a backstage look at the music business – featuring adidas Originals, BBC 6 Music, and Manchester City Council.
